Goal of the programme
School of Nursing was established in the year 2002 offers 3 years diploma programme of General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) under the banner of All India Children Care and Educational Development Society, Azamgarh. The Nursing School is Recognized by U. P. State Nurses & Midwives Council, Lucknow and Indian Nursing Council New Delhi. The Institution set new standards of excellence in Nursing Education and practice. The College aims at an educational programme that enhances the student's knowledge, skill abilities and favorable attitudes to qualify as nursing professionals in today's highly competitive and health conscious society. The society has further expanded and includes under its banner the college of Nursing offering 4 years B. Sc. (Nursing) programme from 2010, affiliated to V. B. S. Purvanchal University Jaunpur U. P.
Health Care service being on the top of the National Agenda must be equally available to everyone at least to the minimum expected standards of excellence. Practically all of mankind may not have been alive today but for the Nurses. In order to provide quality patient care with independent decision through holistic approach, College of Nursing for (B.Sc. Nursing) 4 Yrs degree course has been established with an yearly intake of 40 students. General Nursing & Midwifery 3 Years Course & A.N.M./B.H.W. (Female) 2 Years Course is also included under the banner of College. College future plan is to start M.Sc. Nursing in the disciplines-of Medical Surgical Nursing, Obs. & Gynecological Nursing and Community Health Nursing.
